I started a new job in 2003 as an assistant accountant. I believed strongly that God had opened that door for me, because it was in response to the first application letter that I had sent. However during my time there I have been challenged in some really unexpected ways, and I bless God for being there with me all through the really rough times.

“You are good all the time and all the time you are good!” I just had to steal a few words from that song to simply illustrate how GOOD God has been in my life. After leaving university I sat at home for weeks moaning and groaning about my state of being a professional home limer. In Barbados, jobs are few and far between. I am sure that many can relate to that. I wrote application after application and built myself up to a whopping 42,  until I just said ”God you’ve gotta do something here, your daughter needs you now!”

Hi everyone

We all go through periods of great trial. For my husband and I, we faced the challenge of three consecuctive miscarriages. We are both christians and love God with all our hearts, yet we couldn’t understand what was happening to our family. So we explained it away with the man-made theory that God didn’t want us to be parents again.

Those words brought limited comfort to our hearts, because they are contrary to God’s Word. God says that he gives live and gives it more abundantly; that children will be a joy to us in our old age and that he will give us our heart’s desire. So what was happening?

As active members of our local church we were being attacked by the enemy. The devil knew the legacy we would leave for our children - one of faithfulness and committed service to God. He wanted to destroy our faith and trust by destroying our children.
