What exactly does this mean? I was watching CNN last night as they covered a story on whether or not being gay is immoral. One of the interviewees was Carlton Pearson. This really took me by surprise. He was talking about how Jesus loves every one regardless of what they do. Ok I see nothing wrong with that. That is biblical.

He also went on to say that once upon a time he preach against homosexuality. Then something happened that changed his way of thinking. His best friend told him he was gay. Because of that revelation he now preaches the gospel of inclusion. His church membership now consist of gay couples.

Now I know the bible speaks strongly against sexual immorality which includes having a lover of the same sex. I have never read a story in the bible where Jesus, who reached out his hands to all sinners (cause we all have sinned) said that sin was kool. His parting words were always go and sin no more.

So this gospel of inclusion, What really is it? Cause if this is the road that some preachers are taking, God help us all!

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15

Romans 2:16 - In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Having a personal relationship with God is essential for all of us. No one can know God for us. It is also essential that we also do not judge others by our standards and beliefs. Matthew 7:1 - Judge not, that ye be not judged.

In the end, all of us will have to stand before the Lord Almighty to answer for ourselves, not for our friends or others but for ourselves.

However having freedom in Christianity is a fine line to walk across. The apostle Paul added that we must not cause our freedom in Christ to have a negative effect on other non-believers and believers. So we must conduct ourselves in a manner that is pleasing to us and to people who view and come into contact in our lives. We all know that we cannot please everyone, but at the end of the day we also need to comfortable with what we did. I am sure when thought process is involved that the correct thing will stand out easily.

Knowing God personally is an experience that all humans should experience. When we know God and have an appreciation for his wonderful goodness for us and who he is life becomes a nicer place to live. Through the Goodness and mercies of God, we are in the position we are today. And who knows what would of happen to us if God has deserted us. God’s journeying mercies and love for us keeps us safe and protected.

Sometimes the things that Christians bother about make me wonder if doing such things will really stop us from entering the Kingdom of God. Only God knows and hold the keys to the Kingdom.

Knowing God is really essential and is a personal. Only you can know God for yourself.

All the best in your relationship with God.
