Each year radio station Heart 106 have an awards evening called “Lifestyle Awards”, which celebrates the locally community and their efforts.

Awards are given out for Health Spa of the year, Fashion Retailer of the year, East Midlands Favourite Family Day Out, Hotel of the year, Hair Salon of the Year, Bar and Restaurant of the year, Interior Retailer of the year and an overall winner of the year.

2009 saw winners like Eden Hall, Pink and Lilly, Twycross Zoo, Sutherland and Barnett, Harts, Hoofers, Saltwater, MAC, Nottingham, John Lewis.

The overall winner for 2009 was crowned as Saltwater, which is a very trendy bar in Nottingham.
